As a guy, you need to top up your slay game to feel more confident about yourself and having 360 waves is a smashing hair style that you really don't want to omit in your style kit.

360 waves can't be acquired if you're too hasty and impatient about it, it requires consistency and a lot of attention to your hair to achieve it. You might need to brush your hair more and wear durags all the time to maintain your waves, so that's already a tool for your start. A durag or wave cap and a good hair brush.

There's this adage that says; "no good thing comes easy" and there no lie in that when it comes to getting waves, not just waves but 360 waves. Like the one in the picture above.

1. Cut your hair short and edge up

The first thing to consider while chasing waves is that, the shorter the hair, the easier the waves. So for a beginner if you want to get your hair cut tell the barber to cut the hair mid low and ensure its thick too. Scanty hair won't get you waves, if your hair is coarse in texture then consider yourself lucky.

2. Don't use relaxers

I hear a lot of guys say you've got to relax your hair first before thinking of getting waves, that is a lie! Your hair needs no relaxer, it would only make you hair softer and it'll dry out your hair too, they'll make your waves look forced and probably scatter at a slight touch. Avoid them guys!!

Rather than getting a relaxer to soften your hair or get curls (waves are formed from curly hairs that lay down straight) purchase a Curl activator or S curl activator. Use more oils and brush more often this will create a good foundation for your waves to build on. Never relax your wave to ensure your hair remain healthy.

3. Use more oils and pomades

The benefits of oils and pomades on the hair can never be substituted. Hair oils boost your hair growth and also nourishes your hair a great deal so it's not surprise that hair oils helps your waves. It gives it a shiner and smoother look and the pomade helps to hold it in shape to get it that ripple like pattern.

4. Brush your hair like your life depends on it

Okay, your life doesn't depend on it but, your waves does. This is where excessiveness doesn't harm, you should brush every single time you remember to. Brush while you eat, while you sleep if you have to. As much as you brush your waves becomes more defined and round, also it flattens the waves for a more obvious look. With all these you'd flex your smashing waves in no time.
