For a club like Manchester United, not winning the league for more than five years is unimaginable. However, that is the realoty at the moment. Millions of British pounds has been spent on player recruitment to remedy this situation. But, the story has not been successful. The club is still without major honours like the premier league or the UEFA champions league. Hence, a change in strategy is necessary.
One thing that made Manchester United great was the recruitment of young, dynamic and passionate players. These players played the game with their hear and soul. Great names like Paul schools, Ryan Gigs, Wayne Rooney were players who gave 101% on the field of play. When they are losing a game, you can see how angry the are and you will see their body language showing determination to get back and win every ball in the field.
Now, you have players who are more interested in their social media activities than their football. Player who care about fashion and style more than they care about football. Names like Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba comes to mind. You also have players who aside lack of passion and dedication are not dynamic enough to play for this great club. Players like Andreas Pereira, Like Shaw, Matic comes to mind.
Therefore, for Manchester United to get back to where they are supposed to be and win major honours, these names need to leave the club or reduced to substitute appearances. The starting eleven for Manchester United should have the following names.

Spain's number 1 remains the best man between the sticks. He is a dependable name to have on the team sheet. Although his form has suffered a bit like the rest of the team. However, his one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He has saved the club in numerous occasions. Although, new names like Dean Henderson is showing lots of good qualities, I feel he is still immature to handle the pressure that comes from playing for a team like Manchester United.
2. Aaron wan- biassaka
The right back is everything you want in a defender. He is fast, and an excellent tackler. He has put up some Wonderful displays since he joined the Red devil's. He has stood out against top attackers in the league and come out in top. He is also young, which means he will be at the club for a long time. So Manchester United has the right man in the right side of the defense.
3. Harry Maguire
The current Manchester United defender is among the best names in the defensive department in Europe recently. Harry Maguire has made Manchester United defense an improved unit. He is a leader, capable of winning balls in the air, and an excellent tackler. He is also at the prime of his carrier since he is only 27. Therefore, he will only get better.

One thing that has hindered Harry Maguire from showing how brilliant he really is, is the absence of a complimentary defensive partner. Victor Linderlof is a good defender, but he is not the ideal partner for Maguire. They are both ball-playing defenders and that is not an ideal combination in defense. Therefore, Manchester United need an excellent, no- nonsense defender, a hard tackler. Eric Baily fit this bill, but he has had so many injuries that has impacted his form. That is why Napoli, and Senegalese defender is the ideal choice for a defensive partner of Harry Maguire. He is commending presence in defense and the combination with Maguire will be a nightmare for any striker in the league.
5. Hakimi
Moroccan and Dortmund left back is among the best young defenders in Europe. He has established himself as the first choice in that position in the Bundesliga. The club should go all out to get him to join the club because he will be an upgrade on both Luke Shaw and Bredon Williams. Shaw is injury- prone and Williams is too young to be the first choice in that position ffir a club like Manchester United in a league as competitive as English premier league.
6. Saul Niguez
Atletico Madrid and Spanish midfielder is a capable name to play in the defensive midfield area of the city team. He is strong, fast and capable of picking a pass and dictating play from deep areas of the field. Watching him against Liverpool will show you want Manchester United is missing in midfield. He is an upgrade on Fred, and Mctominay. Having Paul Pogba play alongside him or Jack Grealish will be a worrying sight for any opposition in the league.
7. Bruno Fernandez
The name on everyone's lips before football stopped across Europe because of coronavirus. He has made the Manchester United shirt his own. He is fast, skillful, a leader and a complete professional. His dedication to the team can't be questioned. He gives his all everytime he steps into the pitch. With a little more quality around him, the team will have a fearsome midfield.
8. Jack Grealish
Aston Villa and England midfielder is a great name to have on a teamsheet. He is a leader and a hard worker. Capable of producing something out of nothing and above all, he loves Manchester United. He is only 23 so he has lots of football ahead of him. Having him in the starting eleven will be an upgrade on Fred and Mctominay. However, if Pogba stays, then it will be difficult for him to start all the time.

He is fast, creative, skillful and can score lots of goals. He is currently among the highest assist providers in the Bundesliga. Having Sancho in the right side of the attack will make the attack a nightmare for any defense in the league. His combination with Rashford will be devastating for any defense in Europe. That is why the club should go all out to get him to sign for them.
10. Raul Jimenez
Wolves and Portuguese striker is the perfect blend of youth and experience. He has taken the premier league by storm. He is capable of scoring goals as well as creating them. He will provide balance in the attack and that is exactly what the team needs in attack. He is an upgrade on Anthony Martial because he is more consistent. Although he won't be cheap, he is worth every penny.
11. Marcus Rashford
English forward and current Manchester United highest goalscorer is one name that can't be overlooked. Since he broke into the team three years ago, he has established himself as a dependable forward for both club and country. However, this year is yasbeing his most productive year yet. Hence, he will only get better.
Manchester United is an institution of football. They don't deserve to be where they are currently. These names will get them back to the top of they can get these names into the team.
