As the gubernatorial election of the state is fast approaching, different methods of electioneering could be seen floating across every corner of the state capital.. There was this particular electioneering method that caught my attention, it is the use of customized plate number. The name of a candidate and the party he/she is aspiring from is written bodly on the a plate and then exchanged with the vehicle original plate number. I was able to interview and make enquiry from 4 different NURTW drivers at different locations in the State capital how convenient and happy they were to carry such a political customized plate, the response I got was "we have to carry these customized plates to pave way for peace and to gain the freedom of driving without being hindered" does that meant they won't vote for the candidate they were advertising? 3 among the 4 Said No, they won't! Without much juxtapositions, could these meant that majority of the drivers were forced to carry the plates? Should we say their's more reason to this? Does the NURTW chairman knows about all this?
